Keith Zimmerman Keith M. Zimmerman

Keith Zimmerman started saxophone study at age 8. He currently performs as a soloist and as leader of the Illinois Saxophone Quintet and teaches applied saxophone and saxophone ensemble at Bradley University, having previously also taught both there and at Illinois Wesleyan University until 2013. He is a Paris Selmer saxophone artist/clinician and an endorser of E. Rousseau mouthpieces and ligatures which he plays on soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones. His collegiate saxophone teachers and inspirations were John McGrosso in undergraduate work and in graduate and post-graduate work, Canadian Paul Brodie, American concert saxophone pioneer Cecil Lesson, and Daniel Deffayet, with whom he studied extensively in France.
