In the summer of 1940 while on vacation with Arnold, a
flutist friend, and a pianist, that this music was written
for themselves. It is a European "tour" of sorts with
musical stops in Italy, Hungary, and Austria. He also
has elements of opera, musical comedy and jazz. As a
young but confident compopser, he signed the manuscript
not with his own name but "A. Youngman." The music has
moderate technical demands and has a duration of about
8 minutes.
