Donald Draganski
Donald Draganski was born in Chicago in 1936. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music
from De Paul University where he also studied privately with Alexander Tcherepnin. He
worked for a number of years as a free-lance bassoonist and as a librarian, having served
for twenty-five years as Music Librarian for the Chicago Musical College of Roosevelt
University. His works have been performed at the Aspen Music Festival, over Armed Forces
Radio in Europe, and under the auspices of the International Society for Contemporary
Music. His works can be found on the Crystal, Orion, and Gasparo record labels.
